Don Andreas is a Spices export company specializing in the export of Ceylon Cinnamon. The client wanted to revive what was a multi-generational family business. Don Andreas had their Cinnamon Plantations in Handugala – the home of authentic Ceylon Cinnamon.

The initial requirement was to create a Brand and Go To Market Strategy at the quickest possible timeframe. All Digital Assets needed to be created and optimized as well. 3rd Party Listing Platforms needed to be identified and optimized to generate leads right from the get-go

There were 2 primary objectives of our package design for Don Andreas Cinnamon 

1. Pop out to the customers from the clutter of a Retail store 

2. Showcase the rich history of Sri Lanka and the heritage of Ceylon Cinnamon

Website

The brand was to be positioned as a legacy brand which sells the best Ceylon Cinnamon one could find. The website was optimized for inquiries with a nice, easy flow taking customers through a process of education and conversion.

Conceptualization

Don Andreas was to be positioned as a premium brand, and the logo was to showcase the rich heritage of Sri Lanka. 

There are 2 main elements used in the logo design 

1. The Lions from the British colonial past of Sri Lanka, which is the origin of the name ‘Ceylon’. The world still identifies Sri Lankan Cinnamon as Ceylon Cinnamon. 

2. The Traditional Mask: Which is a well-known symbol of Sri Lanka and is also considered to have healing power which can cure various disorders, just like Ceylon Cinnamon
